Young Archie Mornington Peninsula 2023

The judging panel for the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery (MPRG) ‘Little Archies’ competition have released their results for 2023 and the Balcombe Grammar School Art department are thrilled to announce that two portraits by emerging artists, Sophie Nicholls and Eligh Rennalls were selected by the judges. 

This year’s competition included entries from over 20 schools across the Mornington Peninsula, with Year 9 student, Sophie Nicholls’ stunningly detailed portrait being one of only nine selected in the 13-15 age group and Year 11 student, Eligh Rennalls’ beautiful portrait of his brother, one of only four in the 16-18 age group.
